IMHO, the battery tender is a great investment. In the current world of digital measurements, the battery tender very easily tells you what it's doing. If the light is red then it's charging, if the light is green you're in stand-by mode. I've had mine for about two years and love it. I've used it to charge BMW M/C batteries, John Deere tractor batteries and Ariens tractor batteries. I never had good luck with the BMW charger that the previous owner gave to me with my bike. I could never tell with the analog scale what the hell the thing was up to. BTW, I just recently installed a BMW plug so that I can charge either the K75S or R100GSPD with the same plug. Good techology well worth the investment. *Graling_D@timeplex.com-------------------1-800-837-4999* *1988 K75S "parked a lot"---1995 R100GSPD Classic "ride like crazy" *Don Graling, Centreville, Virginia---"Don's Four Corner's B-Day"* ******* Paris Daycare Mudbog and Dirt-Flinging Society ******* ------------------------------
